Mer.

pole dancing! not really. just hanging out with a really big tree.

Simeon and his impulsive early-morning chopping of
a dead cabbage tree (in his underwear, no less). Silly boy!

A big windstorm knocked down this dead ginko tree. It was actually touching this car (which is the one I'll be driving), but missed smashing it to a pile of rubble by mere inches. Oh, fate, how I love thee.

Taupo Bay. Purty.

Also Taopo Bay. Also purty. this is where my camera died (temporarily).

Hello world, it is I. I have to say, the fonts avaiable for this....blog...are limited and lame. But onto more important matters. I am now in Mangawhai for two weeks. Got here yesterday. I got my camera recharger (thanks mom!), so this will be mostly pictures. In a nutshell, since i last wrote i have fed a black and white baby lamb from a bottle, went to a junior high play, hiked around in the bush and made stick-bread (it's like roasting hot dogs over a campfire but it aint meat, its dough), endured a lot of windyness, sat in the hot-pools and read edgar allen poe to simeon, and pet the cat by the fire. nothing too earth shattering. the pictures will have to tell the story this time, folks.
